Celeste joined RobinsonButler in 2012 with over twenty years of experience conducting cross- functional VP and C-level suite assignments. She works with PE and venture-backed, development stage, and high-growth publicly-held companies in the medical device, biopharma, diagnostic, digital health, and health IT markets. As technology continues to be a key driver across all industry sectors, she capitalizes on combining her deep background in technology with healthcare and life sciences companies.
Prior to RobinsonButler, Celeste spent ten years with Ross & Company, a boutique-executive search firm focused on partnering with PE and VC firms to recruit C-level executives in the healthcare space including Health Information Technology (HIT), health data analytics, healthcare services, managed care and digital media/Internet.
Celeste was one of six Partners who built Ramsey/Beirne Associates, (currently Kindred Partners) over a five-year period. She played a key role in creating and executing the operational infrastructure key to successfully scaling the Company from start-up to the leading boutique-retained executive search firm building executive teams for technology companies. Clients included Netscape, Amazon, eBay, Google and several other Series A technology companies. Celeste led multiple C- level searches across all functions and teamed with founding Partner, David Beirne to work with Bill Gates on the Microsoft Chief Operating Officer search.
Celeste began her career with Heidrick & Struggles and over a five-year period developed a broad understanding of multiple industries ultimately focusing on consumer packaged goods and IT/Technology searches.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and minor in Nutrition from the University of New Hampshire.
Heather joined RobinsonButler in 2012, and currently has over 15 years recruiting experience. Heather has a successful track record recruiting for roles ranging from Chief Executive Officer, President, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Commercial Officer, Board Member, Chief Financial Officers and other top executive management positions, both in the public and private life science sectors. She has also spent time consulting for Third Rock Ventures, a life science venture capital firm, leading board of director recruitment efforts for over 32 of their portfolio companies.
Prior to this Heather worked at Ross & Company, a boutique retained search firm specializing in C-level, Board of Director and functional VP level searches for the medical informatics, health information, health data analytics, med device and health services industry. Clients ranged from start-up, serving private equity and venture capital firms, to large public companies.
Although Heather has diverse experience recruiting across healthcare, her true passion lies in life sciences. Before she began her career in search she worked as an Occupational Therapist for Spaulding Rehabilitation (a Harvard teaching hospital), on the neurologic, traumatic brain injury and pediatric units.
Heather received a B.S. in psychology from St. Lawrence University and an M.S. from Tufts University.
With more than 17 years in executive search where he has held key leadership roles for several of the world’s top firms, Kevin recently co-founded RobinsonButler, a boutique executive search firm focused on what they do best - recruiting the top “C” level Life Science talent in America, Europe and Asia. Previously he was the Global Managing Director for Russell Reynold’s Global Healthcare Sector. Earlier roles include: starting the highly successful boutique firm of Heritage Partners (HPI); Managing Partner for Heidrick & Struggles' Global Health Care Practice; and Global Medical Device and Diagnostics Practice leader at Spencer Stuart. Mr. Butler began his search career with Russell Reynolds. Before entering search, he had executive roles with Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson, and was a strategic management consultant with Marakon Associates and Dynamics Research Corp.
Kevin has served as a trusted advisor to many clients around the globe including a broad range of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, diagnostics and distribution clients. He has successfully helped recruit more than 500 Non-Executive Directors, Chief Executive Officers, Chief Operating Officers and Vice Presidents in most line and staff functions for clients ranging from major multinationals to venture-backed start-ups.
Early in his career, Kevin was on active duty in the US Army as an Armor, Cavalry and Infantry officer serving around the world. Kevin is on the Board of Visitors at The University of Maryland – Baltimore Campus and he’s served on a number of not-for-profit boards. He and his wife Margie have three wonderful children and they are active supporters of Vista Vocational & Life Skills Center in Westbrook, CT which supports adults with disabilities, where Kevin also serves on the board of directors.
A native of Massachusetts, Kevin is a graduate of The US Military Academy at West Point where he received a B.S. in Engineering. He received an MBA from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.
With more than 12 years in executive search where he held key leadership roles for two of the world’s top firms, Tom has recently co-founded RobinsonButler, a boutique executive search firm focused on what they do best - recruiting the top “C” level Life Science talent in America, Europe and Asia. Previously he was the Managing Director for Russell Reynold’s Global Medical Device Practice. Tom previously led the Global Medical Technology Practice at SpencerStuart for 10 years. Building upon 20 years of industry experience in top healthcare companies, he leads senior level searches for clients ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies.
Prior to Tom's executive search experience, he was President of the emerging markets business at Boston Scientific Corporation, responsible for all markets in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Canada. Earlier he was President of Brunswick Biomedical, a cardiology startup, and General Manager of a business unit of Cardinal Health. Tom started his healthcare career at American Hospital Supply Corporation, where he held various sales and marketing positions within the V. Mueller operating room division.
Tom is on the Board of Directors of Cynosure, a NASDAQ-listed public medical device company where he serves as Chairman of the Compensation Committee. He also is on the Board of Directors of Sanuwave, another NASDAQ-listed public medical device company. Tom is a member of the Board of Directors for the Harvard Business School Healthcare Alumni Association and a Co-Chair of the Global Annual Conference.
Tom received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and his B.A. in mathematics and economics from Brown University. He played varsity baseball and basketball during his years at Brown.
